Feeling Suicidal?
Connect For Therapy is not intended for individuals who are actively contemplating suicide. If
you are experiencing serious suicidal thoughts, please stop now and telephone 911 or call 1-800-273-TALK (8255).
"Suicide is not chosen; it happens when pain exceeds resources for coping with pain."
That's all it's about. You are not a bad person, or crazy, or weak, or flawed, because you feel
suicidal. It doesn't even mean that you really want to die - it only means that you have more
pain than you can cope with right now. If I start piling weights on your shoulders, you will
eventually collapse if I add enough weights... no matter how much you want to remain standing.
(That's why it's useless for someone to say to you, cheer up! - of course you would, if you
could.)

If You're Thinking About Suicide...Read This First
http://www.metanoia.org/suicide/
This is a top notch site that discusses openly with anyone feeling suicidal the pain behind it
while giving hope and reasons to continue on. I recommend this site to anyone, I know I have been
here enough that's for sure.

Great site. Lots of information, too much to list individually here.
